Rootsy Music is a Scandinavian based entertainment company, founded in 2004. Initially as a humble web magazine devoted to roots music of all kinds, but soon enough the operation turned into a marketing and distribution service for several international labels. The next step was to develop a label/label service and to this date we have released over 200 albums.
In 2009 we started the booking agency and since then it has become the core business of Rootsy Music. Over the years we have created and developed an impressive network of local promotors all over Scandinavia and helped foster success stories for a number of artists including Arlo Guthrie, Chip Taylor, Kinky Friedman, Eilen Jewell, Israel Nash, Judah & The Lion, Sam Outlaw, Temperance Movement, The White Buffalo and many more.
Rootsy Music is currently the management for Swedish soul sensation Jesper Lindell and American heartland rock star Israel Nash.
Rootsy Music also offer affordable music promotion services, and our track record includes working with albums by Bonnie Raitt, Steve Earle, Graham Nash, North Mississippi Allstars, Rodney Crowell, Buddy & Julie Miller and many more.
