Indie-rock trio William The Conqueror return to Sweden for the first time since the release of their latest album Maverick Thinker. Hailed as an "instant classic" by Uncut, it's a record of short, sharp shots to the arm. Fuzzy college rock with chops, one foot lingering menacingly over the distortion pedal. Recorded in LA at the infamous Sound City Studios, the trio rattled through the album's ten tunes at a breakneck speed, capturing the energy and chaos of their live performances.

The tour also coincides with a fifth anniversary reissue of the band's debut album Proud Disturber of the Peace, with new mixes and new artwork. The album features fan favourites 'Tend to the Thorns', 'Cold Ontario' and 'Sunny is the Style'. It was recorded and mixed in a garage in Cornwall using a couple of channels and some borrowed mics. "Getting to hand the parts over to our new friend Joseph Lorge was an absolute joy." Joseph managed to present the album in the way the band wished they could have done "if not for the fact we didn't know what we were doing and we were mixing a record on headphones between the hours of 2 and 4am."

Praised for their grit and authenticity by The Guardian and NPR's Ann Powers, William The Conqueror's live performances have drawn wildly enthusiastic comparisons to Kings of Leon, Nirvana, Buffalo Tom and The Marshall Tucker Band.
